Online Backups
The ITD provides a remote backup facility online, for personal & commercial use. The backups can be used for secure data storage, archiving and software deployment.
The backups run on a schedule determined by you. This could be daily, weekly or monthly depending on your needs. You'll no longer have to remember to change the backup tape or have the cost of buying backup media and storing them off-site.
The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - and you can access your data store using a secure username and password at any time. There are two packages to choose from:

In order to make the most of your backup store, you may need a backup 'agent'. This is a program that will run on your machine in the background and make sure everything is up-to-date.
